Mrs. Griffin served on the board of directors of OG&E, the Oklahoma Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and the OU Foundation Board. She received the Pioneer Woman Award in Ponca City in 1988 and was the driving force behind the success of the Five Civilized Tribes Museum. She was also the manager of the Watson Ranch and was elected to the American Cattle Breeders Hall of Fame. Martha Griffin White received the prestigious Governor?s Arts Award in 1984, and in 1985 Governor Bellmon appointed her to the first State Arts Council. A unique association copy.
