Sir Peter Blake, KBE (* 1. Oktober 1948 in Auckland; 6. Dezember 2001 in Macapá) war ein neuseeländischer Sportsegler und Umweltschützer. Er gewann mehrere bedeutende Hochseeregatten, unter anderem zweimal den America's Cup. Im Jahre 1995 wurde Blake für seine Verdienste um den Yachtsport von der britischen Queen geadelt. An interesting look at Donald Hamilton Fraser's long career, including an introductory essay and commentary upon many paintings, a long interview with the artist, a chronology of his life and career, lists of publications and works in public collections, and a bibliography. There are also contributions by Sir Peter Blake, Brendan Neiland and Annela Twitchin. Blake recalls how they were both tutors at the Royal College of Art. Among Fraser's pupils were David Hockney and Ron Kitaj. Fraser notes wryly that he has "always learnt by teaching". His own big break came when he was selected for a scholarship in Paris by Anthony Blunt and John Piper and had a successful show at Gimpel's.
