T he left side of the broadside is darkened & lightly creased with a tiny black mark & chip at top left. There is slight damage to the… K and B of 2 words "Back By". Folded 3 times for mailing. Good. A humorous invitation to the wedding of music critic Robert Palmer and freelance writer Debra Rae Cohen--an event, according to the broadside, postponed from October 2, 1983 to April 28, 1985.Robert Palmer was the popular-music critic of the New York Times in the 1980s. He was also a musician in his own right, respected by the people he wrote about and able to hold his own with such musicians as Ornette Coleman and the Rolling Stones. He covered rock and blues and his study "Deep Blues" [1981] is still in print. "Blues and Chaos", an anthology of his writings revealed that the music closest to his heart came from the remote Moroccan village of Jajouka with its storied band the Master Musicians of Jajouka, who worship an ancient goat god. His daughter Augusta, who was abandoned by him as a baby, made a documentary about her father "The Hand of Fatima". Palmer led a troubled life, He struggled with drug addiction, was married four times [the marriage to Debra Rae Cohen was his third] and died of liver disease at the age of 52. [Information from the New York Times article on "The Hand of Fatima" dated November 15, 2009].

Le disque est produit par Fred Chapellier, qui joue aussi sur un titre. Excellent album de Rock-Blues, comme neuf, enrichi d'une dédicace autographe de Lionel Wernert et la chanteuse Gipsy Bacuet. On joint une carte collector, reprenant la pochette, avec belle dédicace au verso. Collection personnelle.
