The edges of the wraps are darkened & there is a tear to the tail of the spine. 141 pages plus colophon. Illustrated with a black-and-white tipped-in portrait frontispiece. There are remnants of scotch tape on the inside wraps with some offsetting to the half-title & the verso of the colophon. There is light foxing to the fore-edge & the top & bottom edges. Good. Edition limited to 4,000 copies.The members of the group, "Les Amis de Albert Schweitzer", who contributed to this hommage, include doctors. musicians, theologians, clergymen and philosophers. Also included are extracts from two unpublished texts by Schweitzer, "Discours sur Goethe" [1928] and "Discours d'Oslo" [1954]. The text is in French.
