Nur einige davon sind mehr oder weniger ausführlich veröffentlicht worden. Hierzu gehört ein 1941 gefundenes Bruchstück, das sehr wahrscheinlich aus dem Kastell der Per. 1 stammt und das auf der für die Adresse bestimmten Seite u.a. die Worte Albano medico enthält. Die zweizeilige Inschrift, die bisher erst teilweise gelesen wurde, ist, wie es scheint, auf die Aussenseite eines Diptychon oder Codex duplex eingeritzt worden. Die größten Ausmaße des erhaltenen Fragmentes sind 11,95 x 4,85 x 0,9 cm. Über der Adresse befinden sich zwei Löcher; die beiden Hälften des Diptychon sind mittels eines durch je zwei zusammengehörige Löcher gezogenen Fadens, also mit einer Art von Scharnieren, verbunden gewesen. Die Oberseite ist in der Mitte mit einem Einschnitt versehen; darunter befindet sich ein senkrechter, ca. 1 cm breiter Streifen, der von Schrift frei ist. Dies hängt damit zusammen, daß, nachdem die zwei Brettchen des beschriebenen Diptychon zusammengeklappt waren, ein zum Verschluß dienender Faden darumgelegt und mit seinen Enden angesiegelt wurde. An der Rück- oder Innenseite ist die Schreibfläche 1,5 - 2 mm eingetieft; auf ihr sind zahlreiche, noch nicht entzifferte Schriftspuren zu sehen. - Wikipedia: Julianus Egidius Alphonsus Theresia Jules Bogaers (* 26. Mai 1926 in Cuijk; 10. September 1996 in Nijmegen) war ein niederländischer Provinzialrömischer Archäologe. Über fünf Jahrzehnte war er der wohl maßgebliche Forscher zum Limes in den Niederlanden.
