He had a long professional partnership with George Him. As a design company, Lewitt-Him brought an innovative use of colour, abstraction and symbolism to commercial design. They established a reputation for fine poster work during World War Two and for exhibition displays, most notably with the Guinness clock for the Festival of Britain. His work includes paintings, murals, watercolors, drawings, ink drawings and artistic building decorations Massimo Cavalli (born January 12 , 1930 in Locarno ; September 26, 2017 in Massagno , resident in Verscio ) was a Swiss painter , draftsman and engraver . Edmondo Dobrzanski (born August 2, 1914 in Zug ; August 23, 1997 in Lugano ) was a Swiss painter , draftsman and graphic artist . Robert Lienhard (born February 4 , 1919 in Winterthur ; March 24 , 1989 there) was a Swiss sculptor , metal sculptor , draftsman and graphic artist . Lienhard was an outstanding representative of non-representational large-scale sculpture, which he executed primarily in bronze, aluminum, wood and stone.
