Her husband Ernan Forbes Dennis, was a retired MI-6 agent. Fleming's adventures in the Austrian Alps are the genesis of James Bond, and it was here that he wrote his first thriller story. The film is littered with comic references to the Bond franchise; Flint is initially offered a Walther PPK and an attache case with a concealed throwing knife, he brawls with agent 0008, enquires if SPECTRE are involved, and there is a Sean Connery lookalike. The film poster artwork was illustrated by Bob Peak, who worked on several James Bond film campaigns and concepts.
