Condizione: New. Print on Demand. This book is an exploration of the early history of the city of Florence, Italy by examining its origins as a Roman colony. The narrative explores different theories and beliefs about the founding of Florence with some dating back to Roman figures, such as Hercules. The author examines the viability of these theories against historical records, archeological findings, and linguistic evidence to determine which suppositions hold the most weight. The book delves into the challenges of determining the city's true origins given the limited and often conflicting information available. Ultimately, this book provides valuable insights into the historical development of Florence and the broader context of Roman colonization during that period. This book is a reproduction of an important historical work, digitally reconstructed using state-of-the-art technology to preserve the original format.
