The "Compozitor Publishing House * Saint-Petersburg" presents the new series of vocal collection consisting of the opera excerpts. Every publication is dedicated to either the Russian or European music from classics to nowadays. Editors' main objective is the complete publication of opera scenes and arias useful to both conceit and educational practice. The other way of sorting is based on voices scale (from soprano up to basso). Meanwhile every specified collection includes several vocal pieces without any timbre definition. Many scenes and arias are given as full versions with prior recitatives and introductions, so as finals and their performing variants. Several variants are adduced, if both pre-revolution and Soviet librettos are used, and distinguished vocalists' interpretations are well-known. Convenient transliteration is offered for foreign users (taking into consideration both spelling and pronunciation). Hopefully, this is a good chance for every performer to find something most unique, though yet unknown, but able to enrich both beginners and adults. Contents M. Glinka. RECITATIVE AND ARIA BY RUSLAN. From the opera "Ruslan and Lyudmila". Edited by M. Balakirev, S. Lyapunov A. Borodin. SCENE AND ARIA OF KONCHAK. From the opera "Prince Igor" M. Mussorgsky.
