In fair red cloth boards, with black and white image of a post office to front and gilt titles to front; black and white image of postman to spine with decoration and gilt titles. The boards are flat, quite… firm, a little dirty; spine ends and corners bumped and frayed. Tanned end papers; the front free end paper is very loose. The text block is even, quite tight, a little tanned around the edges. With black and white illustrations (unattributed). Pages 80 and 81 gave brown marks down centre where sellotape used to strengthen the two pages. The pages 153 to 160 have tiny tears on the fore edge. The publisher's catalogue to rear is tanned. Fair plus condition. No dedications etc. Without jacket.
