Illustrated throughout with both colour and black and white photographs plus several colour maps showing the system at various points in its history. There is also one page devoted to examples of the tickets, also in colour. The book is a most thorough history of these environmentally friendly vehicles which served Bournemouth until 1969 and which at the time were deemed expensive and unfashionable.
