Original sand and brown paper covered boards illustrated with palm tree and swastika emblem, with oatmeal cloth spine 11x16cm. 171pp including b/w illustrations and colour maps, complete with loose colour folding map in the rear pocket. Covers near fine; interiors ear fine and unfilled, tanned, the loose map neatly folded with corner crease. Especially rare in this condition. Worldcat and Library Hub record 9 copies (along with a 1942 issue). This was planned by Regional Councillor KA Stuckenberg and senior Reich Ministry official Dr W Heinrichsdorff, and edited by E. Nanssen. Its contributors were predominantly academic, including Professors W. Eggers, G. Wagner, W. Braune, E. Dammam, J. Lukas, A. Schaade, and E. Rodenwaldt, some of whom indicated as "currently in the field". This opens with a portrait of Hitler and message of support from Goebbels.
