Tome II : 14 planches dont 1 dépliante (12 en couleurs). Tome III : 23 planches dont 1 dépliante (22 en couleurs). Tome IV : 15 planches en couleurs dont 1 dépliante. Tome V : 23 planches en couleurs. Tome VI : 20 planches en couleur. Soit un total de 113 planches aquarellées (sauf 7 qui sont en noir et au lieu des 111 annoncées sur le titre et dans la table des planches), représentant costumes de diverses provinces, métiers, vues et scènes de vie. Rarissime exemplaire en cartonnage de l?époque en très bonne condition, agrémenté de deux planches supplémentaires: - page 60 du tome I: Traineau de noble. - Page 101 du tome III: Kamoulk et cosaque. Certaines planches ont le même intitulé mais les planches sont différentes par rapport aux exemplaires consultés. De la bibliothèque du Marquis de Fortia (ex-libris). Très bon exemplaire.

"Repr…ésentés par 74 gravures, la plupart d'après les originaux inédits du Cabinet de feu M. Bertin, Ministre; accompagnés de notices explicatives, historiques et littéraires". Ouvrage qui dépeint les costumes, l'artisanat, les petits métiers, les jeux, etc. Petite restauration angulaire à un feuillet du second volume. Cette publications fut complétée l'année suivante par deux autres volumes intitulés "Coup d'oeil sur la Chine, ou nouveau choix de costumes, arts et métiers", qui ne figurent pas ici. Superbe exemplaire de ce délicieux ouvrage, habillée d'une très élégante reliure, et sans la moindre rousseur.
