      Mass Market Paperback. Condizione: Good. First Paperback Edition. First UK paperback edition. This translation by Brian Rhys was originally published in hard covers by Paul Elek in 1957. The front and back covers have some creasing around the corners and some edge wear. The spine has reading creasing, edge rubbing and two puncture marks. Browning to the page edges and Light spotting to the first page and the pages are browned but otherwise unmarked. First printing. Postage charge will be reduced by £1.50 when the order is processed.

Slight fading to spine color, a few small and faint spots, very minor edge wear and extremely slight bowing to the boards. The unprinted glassine overlay for the frontispiece has a tattered bottom margin. The Paul Nash woodcuts remain fine. Still a nice copy of a scarce title.

The jacket of orange paper with the front panel a mirror of the title page in black, title on the spine in black. ___CONDITION: Volume near fine, with clean boards, straight corners without rubbing, a strong, square text block with solid hinges, the interior is clean and bright, and entirely free of prior owner markings; a minute amount of light sunning to the head and tail of the spine, else fine.
