This is the memorial reissue, identified in the imprint as a mostly unaltered new edition published following Leiter's death on November 26, 2013. Originally produced to accompany the 2012 Hamburg retrospective, this substantial volume surveys Leiter's work across color and black-and-white photography, fashion photography, paintings, sketchbooks, and overpainted photographs. Essays and accompanying texts appear in both English and German, offering context for his distinctive use of color, reflections, abstraction, and everyday New York scenes. Bound in red cloth with black spine lettering and a stamped facsimile signature on the front board. Includes the original pictorial outer sleeve. A printed facsimile signature also appears on a preliminary page; this copy is not hand-signed. Condition- Very Good. Red cloth boards remain attractive, with light handling wear. The pictorial sleeve shows surface rubbing, edge and corner wear, and small areas of abrasion, most noticeable at the corners and along the edges.
