A fox-hunting ballad, with a tipped-in frontispiece in colour, 5 collotype plates, and 27 drawings in the text by T. Ilvester Lloyd. Uncommon in this early jacket, with the publisher's spare paper spine label tipped into the gutter of the back endpaper.

The second dated 1929, with printed photo-plates, a map frontispiece and a large folding map in pocket at rear. 1929 particular having a letter from the solicitor loosely inserted. Both in the original card wrapps., some edge wear. Contents of both in good clean order. 'Very Good'. Edstone Hall was a Georgian Manor house marked on the Ordnance Survey maps of 1886 and 1926 and was located north of Bearley, Warwickshire. The house was rebuilt in 1936, unfortunately nothing of the house from these particulars remains. However many of the other properties and estate land auctioned here do still exist.
