With frontispiece portrait of Hardy and 28 other illustrations including a large foldout facsimile letter, lists of captains and officers of the Victory and 11 appendices, with muster roll of the Victory, family trees and more. Hardcover with Hardy family gilt crest on the front cover, gilt titles on the spine. 318 pages. Very good condition, firmly bound, very light fading at top of cover. Somewhat scarce on the market. From the notable British military collection of R. Burdett Mafit.
