20 x 14 1/4 inches. A quite attractive artifact of the mapmakers art from the first quarter of the 19th century. From Russia d'Europe in the west to Amerique Septent in the east the map is finely engraved with the then known places. The Northeast Passage is promoted by showing an open glaciated sea in the north. In the south the map includes some territory of the Chinese. There is an inset map showing Regions Polaris.
