So schließen sich die Kreise.Einen seiner letzten Spaziergänge unternimmt Bruls zum Friedhof von San Michele, wo er die Gräber von Joseph Brodsky, Ezra Pound und Igor Strawinsky besucht. Er beendet seinen Weg in der Stille, die sich nach Mitternacht, wenn die Vaporettos und Taxiboote ihre Fahrt einstellen, über die Stadt legt: Ein melancholischer und nachdenklicher Schluss einer eindrucksvollen Reise.
