"Bryden traveled through Bechuanaland, hunting antelope and small game, crossed the Kalahari Desert, then hunted giraffe near Lake Ngami. Upon reaching the Botletli River plains, Bryden's group bagged zebra, wildebeest, lechwe, and other game. Recrossing the Kalahari, the expedition took trophy eland. Inside front hinge a little loose and a few cracks throughout but binding still solid. A few spots of foxing to prelims, tissue guards and map to rear with all other pages and plates in very good clean and bright condition. A nice copy of Bryden's recording of "the incidents which happened in the course of a year of wanderings in Bechuanaland, the Kalahari Desert, and the Lake River Country, Ngamiland".
