Loosely laid in are several printed sheets for visitors to the 1999 exhibition premiere of The Last Judgement at the XLVIII Venice Biennale. Signed by the artist in black ink on the half title. Scarce thus. The Last Judgement, Caro's response to the Balkan War, is an installation of 25 mixed-media sculptures in which wood, ceramic and metal jostle to create their semi-representational conjurings of human agony and religious imagery.
