Aggiungi al carrelloSoft cover. Condizione: Very Good. An attractive mid-1940s popular music issue from the height of Frank Sinatra's early solo stardom. The striking monochrome blue cover portrait captures Sinatra during the transitional postwar period when he emerged from big-band fame into one of the defining vocal personalities of American popular music. Songwriter Ramez Idriss later became better known as a composer, conductor, and educator active in both Broadway and concert music, while George Tibbles gained prominence as a television writer and producer, later associated with programs including Leave It to Beaver. The rear advertising panel featuring additional Barton Music titles offers useful contextual ephemera from the immediate postwar Tin Pan Alley era. Condition: Very Good. Moderate edge wear, rubbing, and handling creases; small chips and short tears at extremities; corner creasing and some age toning to wraps. Interior remains complete and generally clean with no major losses or detached pages observed. Still an appealing and displayable Sinatra-associated example. Edition/Printing: 1946 first edition sheet music issue published by Barton Music Corp., 1619 Broadway, New York, with original Frank Sinatra portrait cover and period advertising intact on rear wrapper. This item stored and ships in a protective, archival sleeve. Ramez Idriss (1911-1971) was an American composer, arranger, and conductor whose career bridged popular music, Broadway, and classical composition. George Tibbles (1913-1987) became widely known as a television writer and producer in the 1950s and 1960s, especially for family-oriented programming. Frank Sinatra (1915-1998), featured prominently on the cover, was already among America's most recognizable singers by 1946 and would go on to become one of the most influential recording artists of the twentieth century.…
