Francis Murphy; the titlepage, and text illustrations designed by Edmund H. Garrett. All illustrations engraved by Geo. T. Andrew after the artists' works. Jean Ingelow (1820 â" 1897) was an English poet and novelist, who gained sudden fame in 1863. She also wrote several stories for children. Born in Boston, Lincolnshire, Ingelow was the daughter of William Ingelow, a banker. St Botolph's Church is the Anglican parish church of Boston, Lincolnshire, England. It has been referred to as "Boston Stump" since it was constructed. The church has one of the tallest medieval towers in the country, with a height of approximately 266 feet 9 inches (81.31m). It was long used as a landmark for the Lincolnshire fishermen; on a clear day it can be seen from Norfolk.
