CAMILLO GUERRA ingegnere, architetto, docente universitario è uno dei maggiori esponenti della cultura tecnica del XX secolo a Napoli.

Cartonatura editoriale con sovraccoperta (la sovraccoperta presenta alcuni taglietti ai margini dei piatti e aloni al piatto posteriore, per il resto esemplare in condizioni molto buone). Rara e importante monografia dedicata al pittore nato a Napoli nel 1797 e morto nel 1874, attivo alla Corte dei Borboni e a Roma, in Vaticano. Ricco apparato iconografico con riproduzioni di ritratti deiÂBorboni (Francesco II, Ferdinando II, Carlo d'Angio'), monumenti che subirono i bombardamenti durante la guerra, affreschi della Cappella dei Girolamini, ecc. Progetto dell'architetto Guerra che partecipo' al concorso del 1933 per la realizzazione della Stazione Marittima del Porto di Napoli. Il lavoro fu pubblicato poiche', contrariamente ad altri importanti concorsi, di questo le autorita' non avevano ritenuto di realizzare una pubblica esposizione dei progetti. In seguito nessuno dei progetti presentati venne giudicato idoneo ma nel 1936 il Ministero dichiarava vincitrice l'impresa Ferrobeton con il progetto dell'architetto Cesare Bazzani ITA.
