A fascinating early twentieth century work on salmon fishing in smaller rivers, enclosed in the scarce original dust wrapper. An interesting work on fishing for salmon in smaller rivers. This book differs from other works in the field because it focuses on smaller rivers, as opposed to other works which focus on large rivers, such as the Aberdeenshire Dee, the Tay or the Wye.Containing a frontispiece illustrated from a photograph.Written by Captain Ian Chalmers.Enclosed in the scarce original dust wrapper. In the publisher's original cloth binding. Externally, very smart, with just a touch of shelf wear and bumping to the head and tail of the spine and extremities. Original unclipped dust wrapper is sound, with some light edge wear and chipping to the head and tail of the back strip. Some light marks to the exterior of the wrap, and a few spots to the interior of the wrap. Internally, firmly bound. A few spots to the first and last few pages, as well as to the fore-edge, affecting the odd page, but otherwise pages are bright and clean. Very Good Indeed. book.
