Each text is illustrated with a frontispiece, followed by three plates to Volume I and four plates to Volume II. Collated, complete. A historical biography of British politician George Canning, who held the position of Prime Minister from April 1827 up until his untimely death in August of the same year. Written by British Army officer and fellow politician Josceline Bagot and containing several previously unpublished letters. In the publisher's original red cloth binding.
