"The above machine was stolen in this city on November 9, 1908. The man suspected of having stolen this automobile is about 26 years of age; 5 feet 9 inches tall; 140 pounds; dark eyes; pale face, very thin; sunken cheeks; long thin fingers; good dresser; when last seen wore brown tailor-made suit, brown derby hat; speaks broken English, with French accent; may have on a white sweater."
