Paperback. Condizione: New. Print on Demand. This book is a detailed scientific work focusing on the engineering design of hoisting machinery. The author focuses mainly on the influence of elasticity in various components on the dynamic performance of such machinery. Beginning with a discussion of the impact of elasticity on the individual components of a hoist, such as gears and shafts, the author continues to explore the effects of the flexibility of the hoisting machinery's framework and the oscillations of suspended loads. This book presents complex technical subject matter in an accessible way with plenty of equations, figures, and practical examples to illustrate the theoretical concepts. These precise explanations and calculations provide the reader with a thorough understanding of the dynamic behavior of hoisting machinery, making this book a valuable resource for engineers and researchers. This book is a reproduction of an important historical work, digitally reconstructed using state-of-the-art technology to preserve the original format. In rare cases, an imperfection in the original, such as a blemish or missing page, may be replicated in the book. print-on-demand item.…
