A near fine copy, the binding square and firm, the contents, except for a contemporary gift inscription to the front free endpaper, bright, crisp, and clean throughout. Small bookseller's label affixed to the lower edge of the front pastedown. There are a few light marks to the lower edges of front and rear panels and some offsetting to the endpapers. In the lightly soiled dustwrapper, a trifle rubbed to spine tips and corners, with a 7 mm closed tear to the upper edge of the fold between spine and rear panel.
