Testo in lingua latina e carattere prevalentemente tondo; bei capilettera istoriati e altri fregi tipografici silografati. Alle tre ultime facciate senza numerazione, rispettivamente: errata, registro con marca tipografica silografata e dati di tipografia, croce di Santo Stefano a piena pagina impressa in rosso. Note di possesso al frontespizio, vergate a penna con grafia antica. L'opera, come segnala Gamba, è una reimpressione con aggiunte degli Statuti, capitoli e consultazioni dell'Ordine de' Cavalieri di Santo Stefano, impressi a Firenze per i tipi di Torrentino nel 1562, in-folio. L'impressione in esame reca in aggiunta "dichiaratione, & additioni fatte in detto ordine per tutto l'anno 1575". Il volume è prezioso per ricostruire le vicende storiche dell'ordine cavalleresco fondato da "Cosimo Medici Duca II di Firenze, e di Siena, dipoi Gran Duca di Toscana". Esemplare in buono stato conservativo; interno marginoso e fresco, nonostante lievi tracce d'ossidazione marginali; contenute tracce d'usura alla legatura.

In-4°, 282pp, (10), frontespizio inciso da J. Callot con motivi allegorici, mancante del ritratto di Cosimo I. Fregi, iniziali xilografiche, al registro marca editoriale xilografica con motto Solemque suum sua sidera norunt. Legatura in piena pergamena morbida coeva, titolo manoscritto al dorso, dorso e piatto posteriore parzialmente rovinati.

In Fiorenza, nella stamperia di Filippo Giunti, 1595, in-4, legatura coeva in piena pergamena floscia (tracce di legacci ai piatti, mancanza di circa 1 cm al dorso, legatura un poco allentata), pp. 100 [ma 200], [10], l'ultima carta recante al recto l'errata. Con stemma mediceo in xilografia sul frontespizio e marca dei Giunti al verso della penultima carta, dove sono ripetuti i dati editoriali. Decine di iniziali xilografiche. Buon esemplare.

In Fiorenza, appresso Lorenzo Torrentino, impressor ducale, 1562 (In fine: Impressi in Firenze, per Lorenzo Torrentino impressor ducale, 1562), in-folio, legatura coeva in piena pergamena floscia (qualche macchietta, antiche note manoscritte sulle coperte), pp. [8], 86, [14]. Esistono due varianti di questa edizione: con o senza il fascicolo M4 che recava "Privilegia facultates et indulta a Pio IV Pont. Max. conventui et militibus Sancti Stephani concessa 1562": questa è quella senza il fascicolo, come la copia digitalizzata della Biblioteca Nazionale di Roma (cfr. le localizzazioni dell'edizione nella scheda in ICCU).
