Vercingentorixe: half-title, though lower half is missing, not affecting text, attractive engraved frontis., title with engr. vignette, engr. decorations and tail-pieces. 56 pages including errata to last page which has 3cm x 11cm portion torn along bottom edge, not affecting text. Bound in quarter tan calf gilt, very worn, lower board detached and spine lacks top fifth of leather. Paper covered boards also worn and rubbed, inner front hinge visible but holding, title-page to Coriolan soiled, pages foxed and browned but generally a very sound volume containing these four scarce first editions.
