Soft cover. Condizione: Near Fine. Published by the Serpentine Gallery in London in an edition of 1,500 copies to accompany the exhibition held during 11 December 1991 to 26 January 1992. Original colour illustrated wraps 18x25cm. 112pp with several colour illustrations and photos in the original b/w. Covers near fine with a little delamination to the lower corner tip at the front. These are accompanied by Schlieker's Introduction, and essays by Marina Warner (on Carrington's spirit bestiary), Whitney Chadwick (on the occult tradition), Edward James, and Carrington ("The Debutante"), with biography, list of solo and group exhibitions, bibliography, list of lenders, and list of works.…
