The parameters that affect the variables were extracted using exploratory factor analysis with a maximum likelihood extraction method. La relación interpersonal influye en el bienestar socio-psicológico de los alumnos con IH, lo que mejora su autoconcepto y su autorrealización, lo que a su vez mejora el rendimiento académico. Este estudio se guió por los tres objetivos siguientes: examinar la influencia de la relación interpersonal profesor-alumno en el rendimiento académico de los alumnos con discapacidad auditiva, averiguar el rendimiento académico de los alumnos con discapacidad auditiva y establecer la influencia de la relación interpersonal.

También se adoptó un diseño de investigación transversal y se utilizó un enfoque de paradigma de investigación que permitió una clara comprensión de las variables en estudio. Los datos se recogieron mediante un cuestionario cerrado, una revisión documental y se validaron con entrevistas individuales. Los parámetros que afectan a las variables se extrajeron mediante un análisis factorial exploratorio con un método de extracción de máxima probabilidad. Los datos recogidos se introdujeron con el SPSS versión 21 y se analizaron con la modelización de ecuaciones estructurales mediante AMOS versión 21, probada en Uganda.
