Twelve very bright colour gouache paintings on pith paper showing a series of Qing dynasty figures arranged by rank, blue paper border, red silk covered album with contrasting green ties. Images approximately 17.5 x 12cm. Album 22.5 x 15.5cm. All twelve paintings in very good condition. This finely painted gouache album opens with portraits of the Chinese Emperor and Empress, followed by the Prime Minister and his wife.
