Hardcover, no dustjacket, a beautiful copy of this vintage classic, green cloth binding with bright gilt title and illustration on front cover and spine, the illustrations by W. F. Stecher include a color frontis, there are a few minor flaws which detract little from t…he book's appearance: the paper remnants of an article about this book on the inside of the front cover and a price written in ink on the blank front end-paper, a small dark mark on the bottom outer page-edge and a tiny amount of softening/rubbing at the corners and spine-ends, also, a short edge-tear to the bottom of page 93 which is discreet and does not affect the text, the binding is clean and tight, the gold titles are bright and the contents are fine, a nice gift/collector's copy.
