En este marco, se examinan diversas metodologías alternativas, incluyendo el enfoque Montessori, que promueve la autonomía y la autodisciplina en el aprendizaje; la pedagogía Waldorf, que se distingue por un currículo horizontal adaptado a las diferentes etapas del desarrollo infantil; la metodología Reggio Emilia, que concibe a los niños como individuos competentes y con una curiosidad innata; y la Educación Inclusiva, cuyo objetivo principal es responder a la diversidad de necesidades presentes en el aula, garantizando la igualdad de oportunidades para todos los estudiantes. La propuesta central que se articula en este estudio se basa en la implementación de metodologías activas que fomentan el desarrollo integral de los estudiantes, promoviendo valores fundamentales, habilidades sociales y un pensamiento crítico y reflexivo. Se destaca la importancia de crear entornos de aprendizaje flexibles y adaptados a las necesidades individuales, que permitan a cada estudiante desarrollar su máximo potencial. Este manual universitario, enfocado en nuevos docentes egresados, examina el impacto de los valores en la educación mediante metodologías activas, impulsado por la necesidad de alternativas a un modelo tradicional percibido como limitante. El manual desarrolla una propuesta didáctica concreta para implementar en el aula, basada en metodologías activas que fomentan el desarrollo de valores, habilidades sociales y pensamiento crítico, creando entornos de aprendizaje flexibles. Se abordan desafíos como la adaptación a requisitos estatales, la integración digital y la preservación de principios fundamentales. No obstante, se reconocen los desafíos inherentes a la implementación de estas metodologías, como la necesidad de adaptarse a los requisitos y estándares educativos establecidos, la integración efectiva de la tecnología en el proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje y la preservación de los principios fundamentales que sustentan cada enfoque pedagógico. En conclusión, se argumenta que las metodologías activas pueden representar una alternativa valiosa y humanista al modelo educativo tradicional, preparando de manera más efectiva a los estudiantes para los desafíos del siglo XXI.
