Hardcover. Condizione: Near Fine. Condizione sovraccoperta: Very Good. Not books but a pair of 12-inch, 33-1/3 rpm Stereo vinyl discs. Atlantic SD 8162 is the main item here (we estimate its actual value at $45) with a blue-and-green label, the vinyl near-mint in a very-good-plus cardboard jacket, "Electronically Enhanced for Stereo." Jacket notes by Jonny Meadow of "Atlantic Records Vault Research," who recalls Jesse Stone's "Money Honey" (Atlantic 1006) was their first release after Clyde McPhatter left Billy Ward & The Dominoes to form The Drifters. Album features Ruth Brown's "Mama, He Treats Your Daughter Mean," The Drifters' "Money Honey," The Chords' "Sh-Boom," Joe Turner's 1954 version of Charles Calhoun's "Shake, Rattle & Roll," La Vern Baker's "Tweedle Dee," Ray Charles' "I've Got a Woman," etc. That disc alone now reduced from $45. OUR SECOND OFFERING, "History of Rhythm & Blues volume 4 / The Big Beat 1958-1960," also bearing a green-and-blue Atlantic label, stereo SD 8164, very-good-plus vinyl (one light scratch to Side One which cannot be felt) in a very-good-plus jacket, a $5 value, includes The Coasters' "Yakety Yak," "Charlie Brown" and "Poison Ivy" (all Leiber-Stoller); The Drifters' "There Goes My Baby," "Dance With Me," "This Magic Moment," and "Save The Last Dance for Me" (the last two by Doc Pomus & Mort Shuman) as well as Ben E. King's "Spanish Harlem" (Spector-Leiber) etc. Price is for the pair of LPs, second and fourth in the series, the pair now reduced from $50.

No Binding. Condizione: Very Good. No Jacket. 1st Edition. Not a book but a group of four, 7-inch, 45 rpm "single" vinyl records from 1959. Wilbert Harrison's "Kansas City" is Fury Record No. 1023, very-good-plus vinyl with a few scuffs and a small piece of blank name label attached to original B-side label. The Coasters' "Poison Ivy," ATCO 45-6146, both sides credited to Leiber-Stoller, is shiny very-good-plus vinyl but with a PON in ink to label, which someone has also considerately priced "5 Cents" in dark blue marker. Our second version of "Kansas City," from the immortal Rocky Olson, is Chess 1723, dark blue label with the silver letters ot "CHESS" stacked vertically, also very-good-plus, as is "Buckeye / Red River Rock" (Johnny and the Hurricanes, Warwick M-509, which has a small name tag glued to label, which label is also marked "5" with black marker.) The year was 1959. Does anyone remember? Group of four, 45 rpm vinyl "singles" for one price -- in fact, now reduced from $21.
