This large and heavy hard cover book (9 ¼ x 11 ¼ inches, 320 pages) was published by DK Publishing of New York (a publishing house that is well-known for their elaborately made quality books), dated 2008 and the First American Edition/First Printing. The book is boldly bound in ornate gilt-decorated half boards which frame a color view of the Nave of St. Peters. This is only the beginning of the astonishingly beautiful presentation of contents of this book. This is a glorious book, lavishly decorated and illustrated in color from cover to cover. Condition: This book is in near fine condition. There is some very minor shelf wear to the spine tips and corners. The hard covers are bright and clean with just the faintest scuffing to the high-gloss finish. Inside, the book is unmarked and the pages and plates are clean and bright throughout. Both hinges are intact, and the binding is tight and sound. This book is not ex-library or a remainder.
