Aggiungi al carrelloHard Cover. (Guildford: Genesis Publications / Hedley 1990). LIMITED NUMBERED FIRST EDITION MULTI-SIGNED BY BILL WYMAN ET AL. One of 5,000 copies (this being # 4,633), each signed by the book originator Bill Wyman and a random selection of 8 or 9 other artists (no two copies ever being the same). This copy is signed by Neil Aspi…nall, Peter Blake, Jenny Boyd, Spencer Davies, Terry Doran, Julie Driscoll, Jann Howarth, John Mayall, Nicholas Monro and Bill Wyman. A very fine copy in the original publisher's black morocco and yellow buckram with red edges. In a silk-screened solander matching box, the cover of which has a shutter which opens to reveal a black and white picture of Marianne Faithfull. 'Film strip' bookmark. The book has been described by USA Today as 'the most stupendous rock and roll picture book ever assembled', a claim that is difficult to argue with. With the original - now rare - polystyrene mailing box which is present but a bit worn and tired. It has, however kept the underlying book in its matching box in outstanding condition. One of the most important books to document the rock-and-roll era. A tribute to the photographer Michael Cooper who died in 1973 aged only 31. Best known for his photographs of the world of rock music in the 1960s and early 1970s and a close friend of The Beatles and The Stones. Introduced by Terry Southern, with Forewords by Mick Jagger and Keith Richards and conceived by Bill Wyman, who has signed every copy (the only contributor to do so). Quite scarce it seems in the original mailing box. Further photographs available upon request.
