Folio 21 1/2 x 14 1/2 inches, near period half morocco binding with later boards and endpapers. THIRTY FOUR FINE LITHOGRAPHIC PLATES - COMPLETE being frontispiece, lithograph title and thirty two plates. 6 plates rather spotted otherwise a good clean copy. A rare work, just preceding his Groups of Cattle published in 1839 with only 25 plates but very much in the same style. A Kentish artist whose fame is almost entirely connected to his paintings of cattle - known as Cow Cooper. Cows, sheep and donkeys. Fine decorative bucolic lithographs.
