Corsi, incisore italiano che collaborò all`esecuzione di numerose opere illustrate di topografia e viaggi. Veduta della piazza Vittorio Emanuele, ora Vittorio Veneto…, ripresa dalla chiesa della Gran Madre di Dio. La piazza, inaugurata nel 1825, fu costruita su disegno dell`architetto Frizzi il quale, assecondando nei palazzi tutti a portici il rapido declivio della piazza, seppe dissimulare artificiosamente con avancorpi e terrazzi la discontinuità delle orizzontali architettoniche. In primo piano porzione del ponte Vittorio Emanuele I ( detto ponte in pietra ) che collega le due sponde del fiume Po; su tutta la piazza animazione di personaggi. Sullo sfondo l`ingresso della via Po, aperta nel 1675, per ordine del duca Carlo Emanuele II su disegno del conte di Castellamonte. Tavola tratta da una delle più importanti e monumentali opere a carattere vedutistico del secolo XIX, ideata da Zuccagni Orlandini, geografo e statistico che dopo aver viaggiato in Europa si stabilì a Firenze ove compose importanti opere geografiche. Registrato all`anagrafe come Giuseppe Orlandini, cambiò la sua identità in Attilio Zuccagni-Orlandini, in memoria dello zio materno, il botanico Attilio Zuccagni, di cui divenne erede. Tuttavia, diventato capo della sezione statistica del Ministero delle Finanze e riprendendo la passione emersa durante i suoi viaggi giovanili, si dedicò presto allo studio della cartografia e della geografia. In questo contesto cominciò i suoi lavori più noti e complessi, quali le compilazioni monumentali relative alla corografia fisico-storica-statistica d`Italia, che interessò il periodo dal 1833 al 1845. Esemplare in buone condizioni conservative.
