Pontosabban senki se tudja, hogy hol, hiszen emberfia nem jár a sárkányok között, hogyan is merészkedne a tüzet fújó, lángot okádo szörnyetegek közé! De hogy arrafele van valahol, azt minden-ki tudja, ha máshonnan nem, a nagy ordítozásból, bömbölésból, mormo-gásból és túzfújásból! A Sárkányok Királya az Irdatlan Hegy belsejében lakott kilenc gyereké-vel. A királynak három feje volt, a gyereksarkányoknak szintén, kivéve a legkisebbet, annak bizony már csak egy feje volt! Csúfolták is eleget ezt az. egyfejú legkisebbet, akit éppen ezért Süsünek hivtak, meg talán azért is hív-ták Süsunek, mert másban is elütött a testvéreitol. Szelíd volt, mint a bá-rány, félénk, mint egy kecskegida, jámbor, mint egy kolduló barát. Amúgy persze külsore pontosan olyan behemót nagy volt o is, mint a többi sár-kány! De csak külsore! Belül meg, mint egy kisegér. Morgott is eleget az Apasárkány, meg dirmegett, meg dörmögött a há-rom fejével: - Micsoda szégyen! - Meg: - Hajaj, ilyen gyáva nyulat ki lá-tott!? - Meg: - Mintha nem is az én fiam lenne! Mikor már eleget mormogott, meg dirmegett, meg dörmögött, meg már a szemét is bántotta legkisebb gyerekének az egy feje, mert hiába hunt be hat szeme közül hármat, akkor is csak egy fejet látott! Nos, mikor már mindezt nagyon megunta, elküldte Süsüt, régi sárkányszokás szerint, hogy számoljon le az ellenségével. Elmagyarázta neki az irányt: - El sem téveszt-heted!
