Aggiungi al carrelloHardcover. Condizione: Near Fine. 1st Edition. Very rare original vintage 1953 first American edition of the Cynthia Asquith edited "A Book of Modern Ghosts," which was first published in the UK under the title "The Second Ghost Book." The book is overall in near fine condition with just some minor signs of wear and age. The jacket comes in a protective removeable mylar wrapper. The actual cloth cover of the book only has some minor wear. The binding is good and sound. The book still retains its original laid in "Editorial Copy" slip. The interior is lightly toned from age but is mostly crisp and clean, though there may be the very occasional page with a light bit of foxing, grubbiness or some kind of other very minor imperfection. The book measures approximately 8 inches by 5 1/2 inches and is 296 pages long. Please look at all of the photos to further note the condition.
