Ces étranges ruines ont été construites par Maximilien Siffait au début du XIXème siècle. Les terrasses ont été décorées et aménagées ensuite par son fils Albert Oswald. Mais les historiens sont perplexes pour donner les raisons de la construction de ce jardin sans utilité qui, depuis les bateaux de la Loire, interloquait les voyageurs. Les murs badigeonnés de bleu, les portes ouvertes sur rien, les escaliers ne menant nulle part.
