Il compilatore vi sostiene "la cause de l'Etat, de la Patrie, de la Noblesse, des Peuples, & si je l'ose dire, celle du Roi lui-même, du Droit naturel, des Loix divines et humaines, des libertés de l'Eglise Gallicane".
