The June, 1957 issue of The Sierra Club Bulletin, that being Volume 42, Number 6. Octavo, glosst perfect-bound wraps, 92 pp. Fine, as originally received, though as-originally-received in this specific case did include tiny micro wear at the top edge, front cover - barely visible in that scan, which see. Otherwise, flawless. Extraordinarily handsome example. Cover photo, by Cedric Wright, is of the John Muir Trail in the High Sierra; the theme of the issue - Wildlife in Our Civilization - was that of the Fifth Biennial Wildlife Conference, from which most of this issue's content was taken. The SC doing its environmental activism early and often, as it always has, so much better than so many others.
