The original broadsheets were printed on thin paper so they could be including with a letter, and were indeed sent in their hundreds of thousands. 2 Volumes; A Book of Broadsheets & A Second Book of Broadsheets, with an Introduction by Geoffrey Dawson, Editor of 'The Times'. Published by Methuen & Co. Ltd., London. A book of Broadsheets is a second edition, published in 1928, printed soon after the first printing of October 4th 1928. A Second Book of Broadsheets is a first edition from 1929. Some mild offsetting to endpapers. Previous owner's name to first free endpaper. One volume carries the namecard of a Captain Gilbert Pybus, of the 1st Battalion The Sikh Regiment (King George's Own').
