Cover lightly foxed with one stray small soil mark, text clean and binding tight. Illustrated with line drawings and photographs. Initially, Captain de Sevy examines horse gaits, highlighting the pendulum-neck's role. He connects horse movements with rider attitudes and reactions, supported by photographic analysis. In the rider-focused section, de Sevy explores flexibility through exercises that promote bodily independence and a correct seat, crucial for effective aid usage. The equitation chapter delves into aid usage, gait application in horse training and rider education, with a dressage progression centered on submission and balance. Couverture souple. Condizione: Bon. in-8 br., XVI-190 p. - IX-64 p., coll.
