The spine is a little discoloured and bumped to the ends. The closed page edges are lightly spotted. The binding is tight. Presentation inscription to the front endpaper. Some light spotting to the prelims, affecting the folding map frontispiece, else generally bright and unspotted throughout. A beautiful first edition, a presentation copy from the author.
