Published by Apollo Press, Ltd, London, 1927, first edition. strictly limited to 1,000 copies for sale in Britain and America. this copy is No. 977. A very good copy of this stunning exhibition catalogue, which has been produced to a very high standard. Brown cloth covers with suede-like finish, and printed title label to front and spine. Slight bumping and scuffing, with some age spotting to cover. Book is housed in a thick card slipcase with hand-written title to edge. Slipcase scuffed and worn, with opening flap fragile, but intact. Endpapers are of a textured metallic gold printed paper and are intact without any cracking. Some mild age spotting to endpapers. Text pages and plates are beautifully clean and bright and are in fine condition. The tipped in colour plates are stunning, and the black and white plates are also of high quality. Text in English. 192pp including 34 Colour tipped in plates and 60 in photogravure. Dimensions: Approximately 383mm high x 285mm wide x 36mm deep (the book alone). Approximately 395mm high x 300mm wide x 40mm deep (the slipcase). Weight: Approximately 3.45kg (unpacked). Extra postage may be payable. More photos on request.
